FPGA Audio ID: what the FPGA does

A PDM microphone on a Digilent Cmod A7-35T. Logic in the FPGA turns the mic's pulses into a spectrum; a MicroBlaze V processor inside the same chip turns spectra into one of five sound categories twice a second. Click any block, or follow the sound from the microphone.
